Yankel is an experimental service, open by invitation. Access is protected by a PIN, and new users can request one by email.
What it does
Short answers
Replies are written for a phone screen. Longer answers arrive as a few short texts, split at the end of a sentence.
Looks things up
When a question needs current information, Yankel searches the web before it answers.
Talk or type
Send a voice note and Yankel transcribes it. Ask it to say the answer out loud and it replies with audio. Voice needs a phone that can send picture or audio messages.
Remembers the thread
Follow-up questions work the way they would with a person. Text “Hey Yankel” at any time to start fresh.
Filtered by design
Every message passes through a keyword filter and an automated moderation check before it is answered.
Private by PIN
Only numbers that have entered the access PIN can use Yankel.
